Co-organized by the Hong Kong Televisioners Association and the TV Production Committee of China Radio & TV Academy, Asia Rainbow TV Awards will be held on 22nd March, 2011 amidst the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART).
The objectives of Asia Rainbow TV Awards are: to strengthen the communication and cooperation amongst Asian countries and districts in TV production; to promote the development of Asian TV industry; to showcase the top TV production in Asia and to give impulse to their international marketing.
The 2011 Asia Rainbow TV Awards is the first-ever award for the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market since its inception 15 years ago. The Award will be held annually.

One “Winner” and Two “Nomination” s for each Programme and Individual Category Award. The Asia Rainbow TV Awards Jury reserves the right to grant special awards to other distinguished programmes.
Judging Principles：
The Entry must be suitable for audience viewing within or beyond the broadcasting country or district; promoting cultural exchange and reference amongst different countries or districts; demonstrating the unique characteristics of TV technology and TV media development; possessing the well-executed programme production and strong artistic presentation.
The Organizing Committee invites distinguished and experienced industry professionals from Asian countries and districts to be our judges, forming the Jury to evaluate the entries in categories respectively. Relevant personnel at stake from the participating entries will be excluded from the Jury.
Judging Procedures：
In the First Round Review, judges will vote for the top 3 finalists from the submitted entries in respective category.
In the Final, judges will decide the winner in respective category from the 3 finalists.
Entries’ Qualifications：
1) All submitted entries must be produced by the TV broadcasters or production companies based in Asian countries or districts and first-time-broadcast between the 1st Jan 2009 to 31st Jan, 2011;
2) The contents of entries should not be involved in conflicts, as political, religious, ethnic, etc. The contents should not emphasize the porno，violence, etc.
Participation method：
1) Please complete the Asia Rainbow TV Awards Entry Form and submit with required samples and text materials (including photos) ；
2) Submit two sets of DVD and one less-than-3-minute video trailer. Please assure the quality output of the visual & audio source；
3) All entries should include English soundtrack or subtitles or English scripts；
4) Please mail the DVD and other required materials of the entries to the Asia Rainbow TV Awards Adjudication Office no later than 20th Feb, 2011. All mailing and insurance fees should be borne by the participants. Other visual images, text materials can be sent via e-mail.
5) Each award category，only one entry can be submitted by the participants. No entry fee is required.
Notes：
1) The participants may watermark the entries with the words “For Jury Only” to the extent that the quality of the visual image submitted would not be affected.
2) The participants must declare the copyright of the submitted entries. The Organizing Committee will not take any legal responsibility relative to the copyright. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject the entries.
3) The Organizing Committee has the right to utilize the information of the submitted entries for non-commercial usages, such as marketing promotion activities associated with the Asia Rainbow TV Awards Adjudication Office and Awards Presentation activities.
4) The Asia Rainbow TV Awards Adjudication Office has the right to reserve all submitted materials for the library.
5) All Awards finalists will be invited to attend the Awards Presentation Ceremony held on 22nd March 2011 in Hong Kong. The Organizing Committee will pay their accommodation expenses in Hong Kong.
